Introducing Neko…

400 years after Two Moons Cataclysm, Neko, the first-born male and last of the line of The Akashic High Priestess, is tasked with the forbidden: to record the history of The Last People and write a new story so that they can leave their crumbling ocean citadel of Mitpar and cross The Endless Water Plain to The Mountain. But as he writes so he grows bolder, putting himself and the people around him in danger.

I am *delighted* to announce that The Akashic Records of The Last People as Written by Neko is now available on Amazon (as an ebook and print-on-demand paperback) and at The Book Lounge, Exclusive Books Cavendish Square, The Book Junction and Kalk Bay Books.

Of course, if you’re in South Africa, you’re welcome to purchase a signed copy directly from me and, if that’s your vibe, give me a shout via the contact form here.

I’m hoping to get it into a few other book stores, but as you probably know by now everything is super slow as an indie publisher.

I’ll be returning to normal newsletters soon, but in the meantime here are some updates and upcoming events…

/ The UCT course on self-publishing is now sold out, but let me know if you’re interested in attending any future events and I’ll keep you in the loop.

/ 11 APRIL is Neko’s official BOOK LAUNCH at Exclusive Books Cavendish Square. Hurrah! More on that later.

/ I’ll be at the Fishhoek Library Indie Publishers event on Saturday 20 April, talking self-publishing and book selling with Debi Hawkins and Cathy Park Kelly.

/ And then I’ll be at this year’s Comic Con Cape Town, between 27 April and 1 May! Still not sure what they want me to do, but I’ll let you know when I know. And if you’re going, give me a shout. It’ll be good to see some friendly faces there. More info here.

Catch you week after next when normal newslettering will resume.
